How to use and customize data grids

Data grid is an interactive table view of your data and insights for your subscribed use cases. This article covers the various ways you can use and customize the grid to explore your data and find the insights you need. 

 

For optimal experience, view data grid on a desktop browser.

Sort columns 

To sort columns on your data grid, simply click the column header of your choice and drag it to your desired position.

Set row groups

You can set row groups to show results grouped based on a column of your choice. To group, click the column header and drag it that the gray bar above the table. Release it once you see a data chip appear.

Pin columns 

Some data grids will have more columns than what will fit in your screen. To keep specific column/columns visible while you scroll, click the hamburger menu that appears when you hover on a column header, and select pin column / pin left (or pin right).

Save your custom data grid view

Once you have customized your data grid view, you can save multiple views to re-apply them later. To do so, click the folder icon next to Default View, and select + new view. If you wish to rename it, just click on the text next to the folder icon, type your desired view name, and click the save icon.

Open your custom data grid view

To retrieve a previously saved custom data view, click on the Folder icon and select the desired data grid view.
